Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy (IASTT) is a technique that can be used in combination with other manual therapies.
IASTT breaks up scar tissue, promotes healing, increases the range of motion and reduces tightness in muscles and fascia. Instead of using just hands on techniques, your practitioner will also use various tools made of stainless steel, stone or polished wood to break up scar tissue and fibrous adhesions.
